Hull Ethnic Minorities Community Centre is a charity, 1137383. We play an important role in improving the quality of people’s lives in disadvantaged areas of Hull and enables learners to integrate better into British Society. We have been delivering ESOL tuition successfully since September 2006. Since HEMCCFL started delivering our courses hundreds of learners have been assisted. Some have got citizenship, some have found employment, some have improved their reading and writing, some have been referred to other organisations for further training and some are continuing to study ESOL. We are a member of the following organisations – Hull Community Voluntary Sector, The Fundraising Standards Board, Humber All Nations Alliance, International Heart Of Hull, Hull Federation of Community Organisations, Hull Community Network, Developing Our Communities, Neighbourhood Network and Communitylinx. We are fully accredited by City and Guilds.
We are funded by the Community Grants 5 programme:
At HEMCC, we hold regular board meetings to discuss company matters. These can be found here: Board Meetings.
